In this workshop, we will delve into the relationship between sound and motion. We'll explore how sound can inspire and influence motion, as well as learn how motion can be utilised to create a more immersive and dynamic experience. Participants will engage in creating/finding sound and integrate it within their own motion design.

Biografien Workshop-Leaders

Jasper Scholma is the Sound Designer at Studio Dumbar/DEPT®. He has a Fine Arts degree from Academie Minerva and has since worked as a freelance artist and designer. At the studio he works on all projects that involve sound and is currently defining the role that sound can have in a graphic design context. Besides his work at the studio he has a producing and DJ career under the name 'Former' where he worked with the likes of Sevdaliza, Noisia and Machinedrum

Elvin van Dalen graduated as a Graphic Designer from Academie Minerva, Groningen (NL). For the past 5 three years he has been working as a motion designer at Studio Dumbar. He worked on projects such as DEMO Festival, D&AD, Utah Jazz and Spotify. Elvin's passion lies in the fusion of diverse techniques to produce unique and captivating results. In addition to his work at Studio Dumbar, he engages in experiments with CGI and drawing machines.
