Creative Coding with p5.js
Skill Workshop by Hanna Züllig
Sunday, October 6, 2024 / 1 pm - 5 pm
Fachklasse Grafik Luzern, Spinnereistrasse 5, Emmen
German
We use the computing power of our computers to discover new forms of artistic expression. In co-creation, we playfully let ourselves be guided by logic, errors, randomness, repetition, and iteration. Together, we will generatively alter and interactively re-collage imported visual material. The visualizations can be published on the web or exported and further refined. Using p5.js, a programming language developed by artist Lauren McCarthy, the workshop offers an easy and playful introduction to the fundamentals and creative use of computer programming. No prior knowledge is required—just your creativity!
