The four- to seven-hour skills workshops offer participants a kick-start to a new programme, working method or specialist area. Anyone can take part, regardless of experience or prior knowledge.

In this workshop, we will show you how to work with generative AI and train your own AI models. We will explore how generative AI works and how you can train your own image generator to create a unique style, a specific object, or a particular character in various variations.

Biography

Thomas Knüsel (*1984) is a media artist and creative technologist with a Bachelor of Arts from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Design, Film, and Art, and a Master of Fine Arts from Zurich University of the Arts. In his artistic practice, he explores and questions the intersections between technology, materiality and perception, science, and art. In addition to his artistic projects, he works for Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts as the Lab Manager of MediaDocks and as a lecturer in the Camera Arts program.
