In this workshop, you will explore how to create animated posters using TouchDesigner and freely available AI tools. You'll learn to integrate 3D point clouds, and dynamic typography to produce designs that push beyond the capabilities of traditional graphic design software. We'll delve into how AI tools can complement TouchDesigner's node-based functionality, allowing you to generate and manipulate complex 3D assets with ease. While prior experience with TouchDesigner is helpful, it is not required. At the end, you'll have a solid understanding of how to use node-based software, use 3D scanning and create your own generative workflows.
Biography
Paulina Zybinska is a creative technologist specializing in coding, interactive installations, VJing, and projection mapping. By day, she teaches and conducts research on the impact of Deepfakes in mental health therapy at ZHdK. At nights, under her artist name Krata she collaborates as a VJ for Reckless Collective and organizes live coding events with unsorted.love. Since 2021, TouchDesigner has become central to her practice, enabling her to blend art, technology, and machine learning in live performances.
