Work like Kleon from Pank

Pank is a design duo based in Zurich, and they have been working together as a team since 2017. Their collaborative projects encompass corporate designs, book projects, animations, videos, music, and stage designs. Pank doesn't develop a vision together on the computer but rather leverages each other's skills and potential. In their collaboration, their possibilities don't double – the creative pool feels multiplied.

In the workshop, Kleon will demonstrate various design tools and techniques that are helpful for creating unconventional 3D designs. The aim is to approach the use of different programs and apps in an unbiased and playful manner. Participants will conduct their own experiments and discover new perspectives and visual stimuli. These can be combined with familiar and proven skills. Anyone who is good at drawing can draw, anyone who prefers photography can do so, and so on... Using these elements, all participants will create a 3D animated poster with a very personal touch by the end of the evening. It may sound technically complex, but it's not. Don't worry. For the final composition, we will use Blender and After Effects (or Premiere Pro). No experience is required. If you own an iPad and an Apple Pencil, please bring them with you! Also, if you have a Meta Quest 2 VR headset, please bring it along!
