Balmer Hählen is a graphic design studio established since 2013 in the heart of Lausanne. Composed of a team of four, the studio specializes mainly in cultural fields such as art, design, music, and photography, which are at the heart of their professional career.

Through their transdisciplinary approach, Balmer Hählen integrates digital media and print into their thinking on a daily basis, considering these two mediums as complementary. They have acquired expertise in the field of papers and printing techniques, organizing several events related to these subjects.

Balmer Hählen would like to echo the theme of the 2023 edition of Weltformat «Life's a Pitch». Since its 10 years of existence, the graphic design studio has participated in several pitches. Balmer Hählen has analyzed over the years that some keywords are repeated from briefing to briefing. For this workshop Balmer Hählen wants to use these sentences to create visuals mixing typographies, shapes, and personal interpretation.
