The Kiel Week is not only Europe's largest sailing regatta but also a massive city festival that draws people from all over Germany. Over the years, this annual event has evolved into a prestigious design competition. Since 1959, five selected designers or design agencies are invited each year to participate in a pitch to create the poster for the upcoming event

Lost Pitches; they underscore the value of competition and advocate for destigmatizing failure. The Lost Pitches exhibition showcases an alternate world of works that never made it to the public eye and invites you to take a glimpse into design concepts from renowned studios.

This exhibition features over 100 impressive black-and-white posters created by more than 100 international artists for the Lucerne Neubad Cultural Center over the past decade.

The exhibition 100 Best Posters presents the most exciting posters from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The winners have been selected from a competition and represent the creative exploration of the poster as a medium and the versatile work of the graphic design scene from German-speaking countries.

For the third time Weltformat Graphic Design Festival presents the winners of the international competition Best Book Design from All Over the World. In addition to the book honoured with the Golden Letter, the thirteen further award-winning publications from all over the world will be exhibited.

This year, around 700 visual interpretations of the theme Look At Me! reached the jury of Weltformat Newcomer Award. The twenty most exciting works will be presented in an exhibition.
