In the evening, the official opening of the festival took place at Neubad. In addition to the announcement of the winner of the Weltformat Newcomer Award, the big anniversary dinner was the highlight of the evening. Together with the visitors, the present designers, curators, workshop leaders and the Weltformat team celebrated the tenth edition of the festival. At the same time, the probably longest paper wave was created during a performance by Zwölf in the empty swimming pool of Neubad. It was screen-printed by hand by the duo consisting of Stefan Guzy and Björn Wiede. The evening ended with the Weltformat party in the basement of Neubad.
During the annual Grafibazar, seventeen designers and graphic design studios from all over Switzerland presented their print products. In addition to posters and prints, visitors could also buy books, fanzines and T-shirts at the small fair.
