Maximage

For this year's festival edition on Tools & Rules and the festival poster, Maximage have created a digital tool. Together with Milk Interactive, the developers of the Weltformat app, the studio has enhanced the festival application to turn the public space into a festival poster and complete the printed placard with typography. Maximage will present the project within the framework of an exhibition.

Maximage is a design studio based in Geneva, Zurich and London. The studio's work is characterised by their interest in production processes and their attempt to steer them rather than be controlled by them. The studio thus uses innovative forms of application of different technologies. Maximage specialise in editorial design, visual identity and typography. The studio is also active in the fields of research and innovation. Since 2008, Maximage Société Suisse has been teaching typography and graphic design at the University of Art and Design Lausanne (ECAL).
