Swiss Style Then presents works by graphic design icons of the 50s and 60s.

Swiss Style is one of the most successful Swiss cultural products worldwide and also one of the most important and influential movements in 20th century graphic design. The style is characterised by easy-to-understand design, abstract symbols, geometric lines, distinct colours and the use of grotesque typefaces and grids. Under leading figures such as Josef Müller-Brockmann, Karl Gerstner or Armin Hofmann, the reduced design became world-famous in the 1950s as an internationally understandable language of communication.

Swiss Style Then offers icons of Swiss poster design a platform once again – but in a virtual form. Find out more in the Weltformat app, which will be available from the App Store.
